Integrations: How to Add Google Analytics


Step 1: Obtain Your Google Analytics Tracking Code

1.1 Sign Up for Google Analytics:

  1. Go to the Google Analytics website.
  2. Log in with your Google account or create a new one.

  1. Click Admin (gear icon, bottom-left).
  2. Under Account, select or create an account.

2.1 Log in to the HitMe Panel:

  1. Open your HitMe panel in a browser.
  2. Log in with admin credentials.

2.2 Go to Analytics / SEO > Integrations:

  1. From the left sidebar, navigate to Website > Analytics / SEO.
  2. Click Integrations.

2.3 Insert the Tracking Code:

  1. Find the field labeled Google Analytics Tracking Code.
  2. Paste the entire Global Site Tag (gtag.js) script into this field.
  3. Ensure the entire script is pasted, including

4.2 Verify Code Placement:

  • Confirm the code is correctly inserted in the HitMe panel’s integration field.

4.3 Verify Google Analytics Property:

  • Check that the Tracking ID matches your Google Analytics property.

4.4 Disable Ad Blockers:

  • Ad blockers/extensions may block Google Analytics. Disable them temporarily for testing.

Step 5: Monitor and Use Google Analytics

Audience Insights: Analyze visitor demographics, interests, location, and devices.

Acquisition Reports: Understand traffic sources like organic search, paid ads, or referrals.

Behavior Reports: See popular pages, user paths, and bounce rates.

Conversion Tracking: Set up Goals to track form submissions, sales, or other actions.
